How To Use A Cord Mic Cable With A Camera Electric Guitar Recording Problem?

Electric guitar recording problem? - how to use a cord mic cable with a camera

Whenever I try to take my guitar on my computer randomly reduced the volume and sound quality in the CD, I'm not sure how to explain it. Anyway, I use a ESP EC 1000 Electric Guitar with Amplifier Line 6 Spider III. I use Audacity record, I have a monster cable guitar at the GPA, and use a Digital Audio-Technica reference include GX1 Dr. microphone directly to my computer.
I thought the real problem is to connect the microphone cable from my laptop because I have replaced everything else, and do not seem to help. Ideas?
